I've read a lot about strawberry scents making soap on a stick, and fading within days of making the soap. Hence I haven't tried one yet

I'll try it. Even the Turkish mocha has seemed to have faded some since I made it. Or maybe I'm just used to it. Is there anything I should change in my recipe to help with the "soap on a stick"

If it wasn't winter and I wasn't getting ready for the festival, I'd scream "HESTEY CAN I COME TOO!"

As to the zap issues -- Coolah was kind enough to remind me that CP soap can take quite a number of days before it WON'T zap if it doesn't gel. I think you checked it too soon.

The ones that crumbled could be used in a rebatch.

I forget where I got my Strawberry FO, but 3 days after making the batch of soap you wouldn't have known there was fragrance in it.
