The cracks are from titanium dioxide. When the soap gels it gets crackles like that. What are the yellowish green spots?

Unfortunately, that's a part of TD. If you gel, you will crack. You can either embrace the look, or not gel any batch with TD in it.

For super white soap, make 100% coconut oil soap with 20% superfat.

my question is when should I ad the superfat? to the oil before the lyewater, or after when I mixed the lywater with the coconut oil?

There is no need to add anything at trace. Lye is still very active at this point. Calculate your recipe and add everything right up front. So in this case all you need is a recipe with just coconut oil and lye water. Superfat just means that not all of the oil will saponify, making the soap nice and mild.

Yup - everything up front!! Lye is not oil-ist... it loves all oils equally.

Lard is another one to get a white soap. You can usually get it from your supermarket. I get it from the fridge section next to the butters and that.

You're welcome. Be aware that this type of soap tends to gel fast and you might need to cut it while still warm.

Aah, no worries hehe. I've been told that Palm makes for a nice white soap, but I'm an orangutan lover so don't use it all.
