What happens if you delay unmolding? For instance, if, instead of taking the soap out of the mold at 24-36 hours, what if you wait for three or four days? Most of what I've read seems to assume that you want the soap out as soon as humanly possible, but I can't tell if that's because the writers assume you are in a hurry to see your results or because there's some damage caused if you wait too long to unmold. Does it get moldy? Does leaving it in increase soda ash? Does it get too hard to cut without flaking or something?
Also, does it matter how the mold is lined if you delay? Will a delay cause the soap to get moldy if it's in a silicone liner? Or stick to the paper if it's a paper liner?
