I've read some of your posts before about not letting your soaps go through the gel phase, what are be the benefits from doing that?
I would assume that using milk (or honey) you would need to put the mold in the fridge to skip gelling it?

I add the milk at trace also, and I do gel.

Whether you gel or not is a matter of preference - both methods can give you good soap. Maybe split a batch and gel half, don't gel the other half - and see which one you like best.

I like the fact that if I don't gel the soap comes out lighter in color. I prevent gel by putting it in the fridge or the freezer.

Either way it's still soap and a matter of personal preference.
