Teach Soap

I have some questions regarding labeling when making private label products for other businesses. I don't want to confuse customers on either side but I know some of my business information needs to be on the label.

Do I need to include my business name AND website AND address? Will just the business name with my address work? Can I remove my business name entirely?

I'm trying to get my head around this and I know Anne-Marie is blogging about this topic at the moment. I am just approaching this from a different angle. If any of you have worked with other businesses to create products specifically for them as opposed to reselling under your own business name, I'd love to pick your brain!

I think it depends on your state. There is at least one soap company in my area that does this. Their name is in small print. If your company name is in the phone book, you don't need a street address. Web site is optional.

YMMV I'm in NY; not sure if that's true where you are.
