Teach Soap

Earlier today I thought I had made a big mistake with my soap, or rather, my son. I was at the sink, washing stuff, when I heard the sound of a hand mixer (the old fashioned kind, person powered). I turned around and saw my son using it (it is his, but after this, I might be borrowing it!) in the measuring cup full of soap, melted soap. I was about to say something when I noticed 1, how much fun he was having, and 2, the way it was incorporating air into it. When it was finished, he couldn't mix anymore, we decided to put it in a mold and see what happened. What happened was a texture like smooshed cotton candy, and it floats. It's cool!!! I now have a kid's soap!!

So, I need to find a good cotton candy scent, that would attract the kids...Where can I find one?

The closest thing I could find on Brambleberry for your cotton candy FO is their Sugar Plum Fairy FO which can be found here near the bottom of the list. The other BB scents you might want to look at are Aquolina Pink Sugar (but it discolors) or Holiday Candy (which is currently out of stock until this fall).

Also found this website called The Fragrance Oil Finder that "is a compilation of fragrance oils sold by various suppliers". They also include a description of the FOs offered by these suppliers. It can be found here, . Anytime you are looking for a specific FO this website can help you locate it or something similar, just use their search function.

armygrl-thank you so much! I used the search function, and found out that Bitter creek has cotton candy (others do too, but I have used BC fo in the past, and liked them), that I can buy separately, or in a sampler pack. Even tho' I have tons of fo's, what's the harm in getting something I really need plus extra stuff. LOL!!

The sugar plum fairy just sounds yummy; might get some of that when I place my next order this week. I'll finally be able to get some of the soap base I really like, instead of the clear. Don't get me wrong, the clear is ok, but it is kinda daunting to face all those pounds of it, and try to make it white with titanium dioxide, which hubby promised would work!! I miss my shea!
