Once the soap comes out of the box, do I need to cover it with something while it continues to cure?? Do I need to cover it with a blanket while it is in the box for the first 24 hours? The box has a wooden lid.

Since I don't gel, I don't cover with a lid or a blanket.
Soap needs to breathe while curing. There is no need to cover it while it's curing.

The soap needs to breathe, so you don't want an air tight covering. That being said, if you have pets, it can be a good idea to cover it with a towel or something so they don't walk on it, lick or get hair on it.
