Teach Soap

What kinds of cups do you use for dispersing your colorants? glass? plastic? What about stainless steel? I found some little stainless condiment cups that seem pretty inexpensive and wonder if there's any reason not to use these? I used plastic cups last time, but feel bad throwing them away. (not to mention I felt like I was going to break it with my little mixer)

I use shot glasses. Stainless steel cups would work.

I love glass (shot glasses or anything clear) you can see into/through the container better. That way you can really see if there are still any clumps or anything settled on the bottom.

You can usually find shot glasses super cheap at second hand or thrift stores like goodwill or salvation army.

Thanks everyone! Looks like I should head to the thrift shops again.

I got a 10 pack of 2 oz (60 ml) of clear plastic storage cups with lids at the Dollar Tree (for those who don't know, everything there is a dollar). I find them to be quite durable, easily cleaned, and the lids come in handy at times. I purchased them 2 years ago when I first put lye to oil. I initially bought them as molds to make bath bombs (which they are super for) but since then, I've found numerous uses for them. Personally, I save the shot glasses for after soaping is finished.
