Hi!

I have seen a few recipes using citric acid in their CP soaps when they add fruit?
Does anybody know why?

Citric acid is not needed in soap. Add too much and it will break the soap into "curds and whey" which won't mix back in. Lye takes care of any veggie or fruit puree. Nothing special is needed.
Do not add any fruit chunks, as those will go moldy over time.
