I decided to whip up a quick Castile batch tonight and had a scary experience. I was gloved up, wearing goggles, sleeves and my legs were covered. Now I'll admit, I can sometimes get careless and leave my arms bare but I always glove and protect my eyes. This time I was totally covered. Well, a tiny splat of raw soap hit my lower lip and got into my mouth. I spit, rinsed with vinegar and then washed my mouth out with vinegar and water for quite awhile. But I IMMEDIATELY got a blister in the center of my lower lip.
Weird things can and do happen. I'm on my way to put emu oil on the burn.
