Hi all,
I've read that it's best to pipe tops onto cupcake soaps as soon as they're made or they don't stick. I'd like to make a base soap in a slab mould and pipe roses onto each square of soap. If I make the roses first on baking paper, then make the base a few days later and put the roses on as soon as it's poured will they stick okay? I don't think I'm confident enough to pipe directly onto wet soap!

That should stick just fine. It would be more like embedding, since you won't be piping on the soap directly. You just need to make sure you press the roses down and wiggle them a little into the fresh soap so that they don't fall off on the first use.
