MORE Thrifty Tips to Keep Organized

Here are 8 more simple and thrifty tips to help you stay organized - submitted by Teach Soap reader, Bonnie. Thanks Bonnie!

Tip #1
Keep fragrance oils on lazy susans. I marked the tops of my jars with labels that tell me whether the FO is clear, yellow or brown, and group them together so I can choose the right scent for each color.

Tip #2
Keep small craft items in a "nuts and bolts" tool cabinet with the clear drawers.

Tip #3
Keep titanium dioxide mixed with water in a squirt bottle so you don't have to mix it every time.

Tip #4
If you package your soap in the clear "treat" bags (from Wilton), cut a small slit in the bottom so people can still smell the soap.

Tip #5
I order address labels from Colorful Images and instead of my name and address, I have them print my company name, slogan and website address. You can get some really neat summer and holiday labels. About $8 for 144 labels.

Tip #6
Buy the assortment of zip lock type bags from the dollar store. The tiny ones can be used for samples. Pop in the sample, stick on a label and you're done. Less labor than individualy wrapping each sample. Make samples in bright colors. Save scraps for samples or "confetti loaves".

Tip #7
Buy shrink wrap from the moving supply store or get a hardware store to sell you a roll of their "store use" wrap (I got mine free!).

Tip #8
Herb storage:
"Laminate" your labels with a piece of packing tape.
