I have a ton of soaps that I've made since September! But I'll add them slowly to not overwhelm you!

These are my Valentine's Day Layer Bars! Each layer is a different scent! I used Peach, Sun Ripened Raspberry, Sweet Pea and Violet!

Here is my newest. I am calling it my Oatmeal and Tea Tree Oil Facial Cleansing Bar. It's made with detergent free Baby Buttermilk MP (base has buttermilk, oatmeal, calendula extract, and honey in it), added oatmeal, Argan Oil, Lavender Oil, Tea Tree oil, and Kaolin clay. Smells like Vicks. Wondering if I should add more Lavender or another fragrance to make it smell nicer......

Amber, I like the looks of your bar! Did you do a 1:1 with the tree tea and lavender? I have done that but would not specify it as a face bar. If that is your goal then I would think a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio tree tea to lavender would be better. I like the idea of having argan oil and calendula in the soap. Great job!

smell factor. I am not one for a lot of flowery types , but I do like lavender. Still my choice is to tone even that down with something. One of these days I want to try lavender with chocolate.

I just pulled these cuties out of the molds today. :) My 4 y/o son found a Peeps mold at Michaels and was so excited. I can't wait for him to see them!

Thank you :) I'm just glad they worked. LOL. Most of the other soaps I have done lately have looked better in my head then the end result.

sfratto, that is a very cute mold and you did well with the coloring. I am wondering if you sprinkled some large grain sugar into the mold first if the 'peeps' would come out looking like they are sugar coated?

Bubbles2, I hadn't thought of trying that. The only thing I would worry about is losing some of the details on the peeps. The bunnies would probably hold up ok (apart from the eyes), but the peeps had a lot of little parts.

Well, I've tried to make this smaller, to no avail. I'll keep working, but wanted to share my creations with low sweat base from BB. So much fun and the galley smells wonderful!
