I think false trace was it, then- right before I got to trace it started to look oily around the sides, and I was like "great, it's starting to seperate" but it was just a little, then it stopped. But I don't think it ever started to cling to the sides.
Last night I decided to try it again. I soaped at around 120 (it was late-ish, and I wasn't trying any fancy swirls or anything, so I decided to risk it going super fast). And I used cow milk instead of goat, because I had just a little raw milk left in a jar that was JUST past the point where my husband will drink it (he's picky- he won't really drink when it's more than 4-5 days old), and I hate to waste. But otherwise the same recipe.
I also didn't CPOP, because I wanted to see if it would gel on it's own. It definitely gelled, but I can't tell if it got all the way to the edges or not. We'll see when I cut it. But overall it turned out 1000x better than the last batch. Glad I tried it again!
Now I'm going to try it a 3rd time with the orange blossom fragrance, just to be sure that didn't cause the problem.
