I was looking at some goat milk soap from various places. Two different places claim their soap is 40 and 50% goat milk. How is that possible? Is it number trickery, are they adding powdered milk, or just using more liquid than most recipes call for?

Soap can be made with 100% milk. Where they get their number from I don't know.

Does that just mean 100% of the liquid, then? Because it couldn't be 100% goat milk. Then it wouldn't be soap. It would be goat milk :lol:

That's exactly what they mean. The percentage given is the percentage of liquid used to make the soap.
