Well worth the price. I love the round bars it gives me. They are very easy to wrap inside of a coffee filter.

Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

I had issues with unmolding it the first time I tried to unmold it. Had to stick it in the freezer for about 12 hours, then pull it out and let it thaw slightly. After that, it slipped right out!

Also, pay attention to the pictures they have of what it should look like! I bought the 4 column mold and stand kit, and set it up wrong (Go me for doing stupid things!). First time I tried to pour soap in, it all poured right back out because the bottom was being compressed weirdly. Second time, once I figured out what was wrong, it worked great!

I really like it too.

I Just use poly pipe with a liner of silicon mat in it, the cap off the pipe can be used on the base,I use tape to be sure it doesn't leak. The 3" size is perfect and gives me about 40cm of tube to cut into soaps.

OK - one more question.....there is nothing additional needed to this mold (i.e. column mold stand)...it can work on its own, correct? Only asking as it doesn't say anything about that in the description and it doesn't look like it fits into the column stand based on the pictures....? http://www.brambleberry.com/Silicone-Co ... It'll stand up on its own without issue - as long as it isn't brushed or knocked over.

Oops, I thought you were talking about the heavy duty mold also, not the silicone version. I haven't tried that one.

I wonder if you can use just their stand for 3" PVC pipes?
