Teach Soap

I couldn't figure out a way to post this image here so I uploaded it to Pintrest lol

I tried CP a few years ago and after my first two attempts which failed, I moved on to M&P. Now I'm ready to dive back in.
If you experts would look at my recipe, I'd soooo appreciate it. I have a 40-44 oz silicone mold I'll be using. I put my oils at 36 oz. I think my total volume should work? The rest of the numbers look pretty good to me but I'm VERY open to input

I discounted the water by 1% and increased the superfatting to 7%
I'll probably use a combination of EO's since I want to make this as natural and nourishing as possible.

Diving in tomorrow morning!

Your mold may not hold all your batter if I am looking at this right. I am tired, so I may be too cross-eyed to read correctly, but it looks like about 49 ounces to me.

Other than that, there are no big "No, don't make it" indicators. Sure, you could tweak this number or that, change this oil or that, but it all boils down to personal preference and trial and error. So give it a go and see how you like it!

ETA: as for your eo's, make sure you check the usage level for each eo you may want to use. While your basic number sounds fine and within usual limits, it will depend upon the individual eo, so as long as you check those, you will be good. Remember, there are 10 basic categories of products (soap is in category 9) and the use rate can, and often does, vary between categories.

Congratulations! It looks beautiful. That formula should make an outstanding bar of soap!
