I didn't use soap paints. I just made some colored soap and used a syringe to put it the dents in the mold. Then I used a clean up tool to remove the spill over.

Jen they work great.. like a soapy washrags.. its wash, rinse and toss! hope that helps... I simply used soap dye to color them. I have yet to try these. but I also made fall leaves which work great and they are silk too. Same process as the petals...

the idea is not my orginal idea. and credit goes to RE recipes. or someone else on the web who I do not know. I just enjoy making them.

I wanted to try camouflage soap so I used my scraps to test the technique. I actually love the way they look! I used a fragrance heavy with vanillin for the white, so it should cure to a nice tan color in a week or so.

It might, and that will be ok too. My son will eventually get these when I'm done with my little experiment. I used the same fragrance in a soap that I had wanted white color in, and over a week it started turning tan. It's about 8 weeks out now and still tan, maybe because it was in a white base. I plan to keep the camo soap around for a bit to see what it ends up looking like. I'll try to remember to post more pics as it changes if anyone is interested in seeing it.

My pig mold I ordered upon request from several people. Some were done in pink some were done in purple and I'm working on a black and white. He's posing a tiny bit of a challenge. Lol
