Teach Soap

Hello everyone! I make 100% Soy Wax tarts and am thinking of actually making candles. Although trying to choose wick and how to use them, containers and what will be the best prices and choice, the one thing that is really hard fr me to figure out is the colorant used to make these candles. Currently I do not use any color, I am trying to be as natural as possible in one of my Etsy shops, but I would like to feature colored candles for my other shop, can anyone tell me the best type of colorant to use? I am seeing that no matter what you do with the soy candles they will always have some type of a frost on top. Is there really no way to correct this? TIA

I've never had frost on my soy candles! I use block form dyes like they sell at Nature's Garden. I would suggest EcoSoy wax if you can get it, very nice to work with.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Xcel for containers and pillar for molds. Xcel is great, less darned 'wet' spots. I'd still warm the containers a bit in the oven or microwave though!

I agree, the EcoSoya is awesome! I've recently switched to it and am VERY happy with it. I use dye chips from village craft and candle. They're really easy to work with
