Teach Soap

Hi everyone.
I make the soy wax melts/tarts and I like to keep them all as natural as possible, but I've noticed that they seem to get sticky at shows with even mild 70-ish degree weather. Does anyone here have experience with this problem and if so any suggestions? I've tried adding a bit of parrafin to make it a soy blend, and I've tried adding palm stearic, but neither seems to help much. They seem to be harder and still nice looking when 1st made and then packaged, but soon after setting on the display table they get mushy around the edges and start to melt. And yes that display is in the shadey side of my tent.

Have you tried adding a small amount of beeswax?

No and I should have thought of that 1st. I have tons of beeswax pellets here, both white and yellow. Thanks for the help...again... lol

I'll try that as well. Have you tried individually shrinkwrapping the tarts? I just had the random thought pop in my head that if they were individually shrinkwrapped, at least if they got mushy it would help them to hold shape? I've noticed that my mp soap that got warm and mushy during markets always held its shape when done with the shrinkwrap. So maybe the tarts would too?

I might give those a try next time I make a supplies order. With those you are pouring into the packaging itself correct? If they did get mushy as long as they layed flat, it wouldnt look all smudgy when they firmed up again?

What type of soy are you using? if your using all all container blend, then try using it 50/50 with soy pillar blend. That should harden it up nicely. I'm from the UK so i never ever have that problem, but if it mean't we had good weather then i would mind
