ive looked at the BB wicks and none specificly state Lead Free. Id like to know if there is any lead or other metal in the wicks.

i want to start making candles that are safe to burn around my birds , right now im usuing PartyLite and love them!! BUT im only buying them cuz im a consultant and can afford it with the discount LOL im thinking of quitting the consulting and just making my own :D i think it may be cheaper and LOADS more FUN!

I would send Anne-Marie an email and ask. I would be VERY careful of burning any scented candles around birds. Their respiratory system is a lot more sensitive than ours.

Bramble Berry's wicks are lead free. It doesn't hurt to double check all the time though with every vendor. While you shouldn't be able to find any lead wicks in the US, a little bit of extra homework can save on some respiratory distress. =)
