Hi everyone
I am looking at making tarts and was just wondering how do you measure how much wax you need to fill the moulds. Is it the same as making M&P soaps (fill the mould with water etc etc)

And how do you store the finished product.

Different waxes weigh different. The tarts that I have now weigh 3 ozs. and I use the clamshell packaging. I use mostly soywax.

You could use water to give you an idea. Just make sure your tart mold is completely dry before use. Weigh out a little bit more than you think you'll need.
