Teach Soap

Hi, everyone I'm a newbee . I'm mom of 4 boy's i have Not made any soap yet I have bought a few thing's for perpering to make soap.But i'm really don't understand the oil part . Can I buy the needed oil for soaping at any reg.supermarket or are the oil diffarant from this compines on line.

Hi Inesshani! You can buy your basic oils from the grocery store: olive, coconut, soybean, lard, castor (in the pharmacy section). If you're just starting out, it's a good way to try soapmaking without getting large quantities of oils.

Hi, ines, and welcome to the forum! You can get many soapmaking oils at the grocery store. Bramble Berry and other online vendors also sell some of the more exotic or less readily available oils, too. Have fun!
