:D Hello everyone! New to the forum and to soap/candlemaking. Love to learn everything I can from experienced soapers like ya'll. Haven't made a batch yet still trying to figure out what would be fun to do first. Have any advice in starting a business in this area I woukd gladly appreciate it.

I'm still quite new myself, I'm still reading as much as I can all the time.

I started soaping back at the end of August, so not even 2months. I've done primarily rebatch and M&P, and each one has their benefits and disadvantages. I LOVE the look of M&P but rebatch is better on my skin. I add so much olive oil to it that it turns out a little spongy which is just fine for my personal use.

THanks for the welcome! I haven't made a batch bcecause I haven't figured which process I want to try first. How ffar are you from Alamogordo, NM? I used to live on Holloman AFB in the early 80's. I live in Baltimore, Maryland.

Thanks for the nice note! You can waffle all you want. It is nice to talk to other people in this world. I have 5 children but no little ones under foot. I want to start with mp soaps to get the hang of it. Thanks again! Can't wait to hear from you soon!
