Hello,

Can any cold process recipe be used as a CPOP? I've read about this process speeding up the the saponification in cold process soapmaking.

Yes it can. Once the soap is poured into your mold, you can put it in the oven set at 170 degrees (US) and leave it in there for about 1 hour or til it gels. Some people put the soap in the oven, turn off the oven and leave it in the overnight. Good luck!

PS. Make sure that your mold is oven safe!

If I'm not mistaken...you can use any cp recipe...someone will correct me if I'm wrong...

Thanks for the advice. I've been wanting to try them, but wasn't sure. I stupidly ruined one mold in the microwave. Didn't want to make the same mistake twice.

Actually, it was one of my favorites. The sun and moon mold, that I had ordered from Brambleberry. Learned a valuable lesson there.
