Hello Everyone,

I found BB and this board last month. I must say I am super glad to have found this board. :D :D Everyone is super nice & helpful which has just been a delight!!! I have been reading and looking at everyone’s work. There are some very talented soapers!!!! I am learning so much…THANK YOU!!!!

I live in Michigan and am a long time crafter and just started making M&P soap this summer. Looking forward to making my first batch of CP (hopefully soon :lol: ). :D Using Lye has me just a tad nervous, as we have a baby. I love both types of soap and look forward to adding this line to my WAHM business.

Hi Bizzie Soaps! Just wanted to comment on your anxiety about lye and babies--- it is well founded. Little ones are not happy unless they are discovering everything you don't want them into! After raising 5 great kids and having almost 2 grandkids---- one due in 2weeks----- I have found it quite impossible to soap when the kids are around. Do your soaping at night when the baby is down--- keep your supplies out of reach--- especially the lye. My lye is taped shut on a tall shelf in the garage. My fragrance oils are in drawers with kid latches. This can be done and is a very theraputic hobby in so many ways--- just be smart about it and you will come to love your soapy time! My granddaughter at 19mos carries soap bars around all the time just to smell! It's really cute.
