Hi I'm Bunni, a yankee living in South Carolina. I've been making soap for a very long time and just love what the Internet has done to learning! When I made my first bar of soap it was almost impossible to find any information. There were no craft books on it (not that I've ever seen anyway) and he only info was from the back of the Red Devil Lye can or a couple of grandmothers I managed to find. Calculations were really involved or totally hit and miss. I had all kinds of problems arise and never knew what they were until the last couple years when I've come across them online.
I do mostly HP soaps except for my 100% olive oil soaps which are CP. I also do a couple of varieties of liquid soap. (Twice I gave up on liquid soap before mastering it.) I don't do fancy. I'm an old hippie and I do very simple, few ingredients, natural and vegan. (I didn't start with vegan soap but that's where I am now).
I don't do nearly the variety that other's do but I am pretty good at the stuff I do and would be happy to help anyone who needs it.
I also have 6 poodles and build websites, teach Wordpress, soapmaking and other crafts.
