I am new to this forum and I am testing to see if I am able to send a photo. M&P soap art is new to me so I am posting my first creation after attending the Brambleberry Soap Intensive.
I really am looking forward to the soap discussions and business information. Is the soap makers get together still on for August in Seattle?

Thank you
Carol

Looks great Carol, very crisp clean work! And thank you again for coming to the Soap Intensive weekend. What a total blast eh? I had such a good time it ought to be a sin. hehe

Hi PJ,
Thank you for the great hands on teaching that you did. I got so much out of it and hope we can do it again sometime in the future. Richard and I are still talking about all the things we learned in those 2 days at the Intensive. I am now trying my skill with the Lily mold from BB and using your technique. Who would have thought you could have so much fun making soap!! And it's legal too! Your soaps are amazing. :)

Thank you soapbuddy, I am used to making soy candles (Moon Magic Candle Co.) and M&P soap is a while new medium for me to work in. I looked at your website and was very impressed with it. Your soaps are great and very appealing to the eye and I'm sure the body.

In case everyone hasn't noticed -- the forum has been upgraded to the newest version.

What that means is -- now you can post photos of your soap creations without having to use another site such as flickr.

Simply scroll down below the area where you type your comments, and you will now see a heading that says "Upload Your Photos". Below that, you can browse your computer and select your photo to upload. Please try not to upload MASSIVE images though. :D

I use http://www.photobucket.com, it's free to set up and maintain an account, then you just upload the photos into your album, and copy the url to post in the forum.

HTH
Trisha

I tried that and no luck, I also tried uploading from my webalbums on google picassa HELP.

I also wanted to say that I have been doing only M&P and rebatched soap from PV. for the last week my kitchen has been set up to really do the whole lye thing. I am a big chicken but right now I am going to get it started, I had one question regarding the molds, can I just use a box lined with parchment paper?

To post a picture on our Forum you first need to post it online at one of the sites recommended above.

Then you copy the exact URL of your picture

click the "Img" button in the 'Post a Reply' window
paste the full URL then click the "Img" button again.

It will look like this in the post window:

Code:
[img]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3253/2489584611_3f6b69205e_m.jpg[/img]

And like this when you preview it:

I did this per your instruction, but the preview still did not present an image.

Hope this helps!

*gasp* This is the most beautiful swirled soap I have EVER seen. The violet/lavender color looks like flowers, and the blue reminds me of the sky.

SO gorgeous!
