Hi everyone! I've been lurking around the forum, soaking up all the information I could, for a few months, and I figured it was time to say hello!

I made my first batch of CP a month ago. It was a learning experience! I'd ordered some fragrance oils from BB, but I was too impatient to wait for it, so I bought some from the local Hobby Lobby. That, combined with my humongous mixing bowl, made for a challenge.

So I got my BB oils and a smaller mixing bowl and I made my second batch this morning, and it was a huge success! I'm so proud of myself!

Thanks, everyone, for all of your advice and stories! This forum has been sooo helpful!

Welcome!
Fragrances from Hobby Lobby are made for MP soap. I don't know how well they will work in CP over time. BrambleBerry has much better quality.

Yes, I'm obsessed! It's nice to know there are others out there like me, lol.

Hobby Lobby FO's are for M&P? Silly me, of course! For the record, they definitely aren't for CP soap! My first batch separated as soon as I added the FO, and I ended up with a chunky, gloppy mess. Never again!
