I made my first batch of cp coconut oil soap yesterday and when I cut it.... it shattered into many pieces.
I used 33 oz of coconut oil, 4.8 oz of lye, 9.6 oz water and 1.5 oz peppermint essential oil. Can anyone tell
me what I did wrong?

How soon after making it did you try cutting it? 100% coconut oil gets hard really quickly and needs to be cut as soon as it's set. Also, using a high water discount will make it set up even faster.

All coconut soap gets very hard very quick. It needs to be cut while still very warm. Individual molds are better for this type of soap.
