I've been told by one of my friends and my husband that no one is going to buy these from me because it costs too much for just soaps!







I'm launching them this Friday, am I doomed?!

I think they look very cute. How much are you charging for them?

Well, I'm in an etsy team promoting holiday sales so normally I would retail these jars for $12 a jar (16 oz size jar with 4 to 4.5 oz of soap) but sale price at $9 on etsy starting Friday. And those Cupcakes (4.2 to 4.5 oz soap) are retail priced at $7 and sale price at $5.5.

Personally, I don't think those prices are too high. I would certainly pay for those, they are just adorable!!!!
Also, only your customers can tell you that you're priced too high, not your husband or friends. And your customers will tell you by not purchasing them. I have friends that tell me my line is priced too high, and to them I say "You've never even tried any of my stuff, so how would you know?"
My business is doing just fine with my current pricing structure, and I'm sure yours is as well. If you have loyal customers, and I'm sure you do, you'll be just fine with your pricing.

Just remember, the only opinion that really matters, is that of your customers. They are the ones putting cash in your pocket.
