How long does it take before I can extract the soaps from the mold? I'm a little impatient as I have a 6 cavity mold and I have to make 150 soaps!

I would say once they're set and you have put them in the freezer, 10-15 minutes should do it. For that quantity, you might want to invest in a few sets of molds!

Just remember that your mold ends up costing you $6-$10 if you get too impatient and accidentally break it so err on the side of caution with the set up.

There is no problem with popping the soap in the freezer or the fridge for a short period of time. If you accidentally freeze the soap, you might end up with glycerin dew so be sure to pull the soap out after 10 or 15 minutes.

You could also think about investing in a loaf mold of some kind! That way you end up with a log of soap that you can cut into multiple bars. You could save a lot of time that way, but if you are doing melt and pour make sure you find a mold that is suitable for that, many or best for CP=)
