Post subject: Fabulous Brown Sugar Soap

I have a recipe from "Soaps and the Finer things in Life" for Fabulous Brown Sugar Soap.It uses 1 lb of Raw brown sugar.In Australia we have Raw sugar which is a beige color is chunkier than normal sugar but has the same kind of glisten about it,we also have Brown sugar which is a bit like sand and a medium brown color,could somebody please tell me which one is used in this soap.Sometimes we have to improvise because we don't have the same things down here in Australia as the States but l would like to get as close to the recipe as l can.

I would use the one that's a bit like sand.

My apologies the recipe came from another web site and l have only just noticed but your advise proved right ,l was so surprised for soap with equal parts sugar and soap to turn out as well as it did.Doesn't look like much but feels amazing when you use it on your skin so l will be making heaps for the family .
