The soap cut but not smoothly. Wha5 I mean is that the cut was straight but the insides look torn or ripped. Is this a problem where I should wait until after curing or at least a bit longer to cut?

Melt and pour is usually pretty hard after it sets so if you made it the day before cutting it should be fine. Did you add something to it that changed the consistency? Also, what did you use to cut it?

I had this problem. For me it was the way I cut. If I adjusted the cutter or shifted it the soap would have tearing.
