I started as an MP-er as well. Took a few years before I ventured into CP and am still learning with it. Which one I do depends on the time that I have and how I want the bar to look.

I do both, as well. While I love cold process soaping, I still enjoy melt & pour.

I also make body butters, creams, lotions, and most recently, diffuser oils. So my product line has really expanded over the last year or so.

I started with CP a looong time ago, and have been MP'ing for about 7 years, so I sort of did it the wrong way round.

No problem switching, and lotions too, they are quite different processes. I am sure you'll get the hang of it all

I do M&P only, and to be honest I probably won't go any further. I enjoy M&P immensely, but sad to say, I can hardly give it away. Since I only do it for fun, I'll just keep going along making for hubby and me.

I do M&P and am honestly scared of lye, plus there's no hood fan or good veenitlation in my kitchen to mess around with CP/HP. And being an impatient person, I'd probably skip CP and go to HP.

I currently only make M&P but would like to try CP soaps one day. I'm not comfortable with lye just yet.
