Teach Soap

So my brother in law and I have arguments (fun ones) about making soap. Whenever I make something knew I give my sisters soap to try. My sisters love them but one of my Bro's in law doesn't love them. He jokes that he wants the chemical laden bad for your skin soap... his words not mine. Well I can't get the gift he wants for xmas but I want to give him money for xmas. So I was wondering can you put money or a gift card in melt and pour soap for them to find kind of like surprise candles? I was figuring with the meat maybe the gift card would work.

This would be kind a joke for him so now he has to use it to get his gift. I absolutely love him but pretty much since he married my sister and actually before we've always messed with each others xmas presents. I've done the gift card in multi boxes with insane amount of tape, but now he brings his big knife so he can get around it. So I need to step up my xmas gift game.

Just remember if he brings that 'big knife' he will be able to cut through your soap. But I still think it would be fun!
I have done the maze boxes that you have to get the little steel ball though the maze before the box would open up and give the money or gift card.

We gave my nephew $20 inside a soap this summer. Just put it in some sort of box (we used a lip balm container with a screw on lid) and embed it in the middle of the soap like any other treasure

Last christmas I made all the nieces/nephews/cousins kids money soap using a slightly green clear MP, glitter and pearberry FO! I used shrink wrap around the money. They all loved it, but found out later some of them ran to the kitchen and just cut out the money instead of washing with it!

Doh! I put mine in the middle in some opaque soap, he knows there is a treasure in there.. but not what it is. Plus if he tried to cut it out his mom would "box his ears" LOL

Thanks for the info I think I'm going try it. Truthfully I know he'll probably cut it out but oh well it's always fun to mess with him for xmas. He does the same for me on xmas it's pretty much a tradition by now. My sis, his wife, keeps him from making it to complicated. I've tried the ball gift card thing and he figures it out way to quick.
