i was looking on soapqueen.com an came across someone esty shop and her soaps looked like polished rocks they were really pretty, i looked at what she used to make th soap since i couldnt tell by looking if it was cp or mp looked like it was both she listed a glycerin base but went on to list things needed for cp soap so i guess my question is can you combine the two her shop name is Soap Cafe

Premium Glycerin soap base(vegetable)
Coconut Oil
Palm Oil
Purified water
Sodium hydroxide (saponifying)
Sorbitol(moisturizer)
Sorbitan oleate (sweetening agent)
Natural Fragrance oils
Gold Silk Rope

The list starting with the coconut oil looks like a glycerin soap base to me, except Sorbitan oleate is not a "sweetening" agent and there is no such thing as a "natural" fragrance. It's either an essential oil or a fragrance.

oh they looked to shiny i never seen mp look like that so she just added EOs to the soap base i didnt know you could do that i thought she had Sodium hydroxide i thought that was lye for some reason. but it is just mp soap with things added i like how they look not trying to copy

oh ok so she just listed it again np her soaps are pretty either way i though it was a technique or something as to why they are so polished looking

i just remembered a soap photographing tip to wet the soap so it looks shinier could they have done that?
