I know I want non-bleeding colors. I like the micas, I don't see any problem mixing what I need w/glyceryn. Besides, white, & black though, I am stuck. 1st what is the best red? I know I saw suggestions somewhere between here & page 38. :lol:

Next, what are your suggestions for 'must' have colors? What are your 'go to' colors? i just finished my 2nd round of Soap Queen TV and am boggled! LOL

As far as red, I have a hard time with this one. If I use enough true red, I get a lot of reddish bubbles, which might stain a washcloth.

With MP, I just use red mica in clear mp and then I add just a touch of white mp base to make it opaque. Brambleberry's Perfect Red colorblock is good.

If you are trying to make a clear to look like water, you only need a very little bit of this. If I am making about a cup, I put less than a drop on the end of a popsicle stick that I'm using to stir, a single drop works for about 2 cups. Of course it is all subjective and depends on the color you are envisioning.
