Here's my most recent one. It's funny, it came out looking exactly like beer, completely unintentional. It was scented with Pumpkin Spice and Vanilla, and we were just at BJ's the other day having pumpkin beers, so I named it Pumpkin Brew. Hope you like it, my photography still leaves something to be desired.

Oh also, my kitty was recovered safe after 14 days this weekend and is home with us again, in case anyone wondered what happened.

Your Pumpkin Brew really DOES look just like beer! Very nice looking!

Also so glad to hear that your kitty came home safely! I have been thinking about Annabelle because I brought in a lost little cat about this time last year. She had wandered away from home and was hanging out in our condo's parking lot for a day or two. It was about to get cold and I could tell she wasn't an outdoor cat, so I brought her in and plastered "Found" flyers all around the neighborhood. A few days later, her owner called me after seeing one of the fliers and took her home. Turned out, she lived one building over! I guess she just got out and got confused with all of the condo buildings looking alike.

I'm glad your story has a happy ending, too!

I just finished my first batch of CP soap...yeah! I made the pumpkin recipe that anne marie sent out. I didn't have enough of the pumpkin fo so I used a little of the arabian spice which btw does smell a lot like the pumpkin so I just went with it. I think my loaf will turn out ok but I couldn't really marble (swirl) it since it started getting too hard too quickly. I had planned to make some in my flat wood mold too since she said it was a large enough recipe to be able to make 2 molds with. My oils were under 100 and my lye right around 100 when I started to mix them. I think I probably went too long with the mixing stick but I wanted to do 2-3 min as in the instructions and I don't think I even went 2 min. Once I added the fo in the 2/3 dark orange/mica/copper portion that's when it started getting harder and I had to hurry. The light color that I used the titanium dioxide in did stay nice and smooth since it didn't have any fo in it. Well we'll see how it turns out when I can uncover it tomorrow evening. I may have to rebatch the little extra dark portion I had left over.

I think it looks like rootbeer. Maybe you could save your recipe or remember what you added/how much and scent it with rootbeer? Call it the rootbeer float.

Festive Orange Spice - goatsmilk swirled with glycerine soap coloured with mica with added Apricot Kernel Oil and a deep orangy cinnamon fragrance:

Passionate Purple - goatsmilk swirled with mica coloured purple and pink soap with added Apricot Kernel Oil with very perfumed exotic passionflower fragrance:
