Welcome to the wonderful hobby of soap and toiletry
making! =) Here are some resources that I've found helpful
in my soapmaking journey.
The place I would recommend that you start is (of course!) at
www.teachsoap.com Since you've probably explored the site somewhat, just take this opportunity to make sure it's bookmarked in your Favorites folder. =)
I also write a soapy blog that posts crafty recipes and articles almost every day. Check it out at
www.soap-queen.blogspot.com Be sure to comment on the articles so I get a feel for what *you* want to see on the blog. If there's a project you'd like to learn how to make, you can post it here and I'll try to do it on the blog or give you directions in the forum so you can try new stuff.
If you're interested in cold-process soapmaking, you might check out:
http://www.geocities.com/blueaspenorigi ... ow_to.html It's got some wonderful pictures of the soapmaking process =) Also,
http://www.quamut.com/soap/index.php has a very full informational site as well.
www.soapnuts.com is also a lovely and comprehensive place to get more
information.
Finally, to sign up for the Bramble Berry Specials newsletter, it's the
green button right here:
http://www.brambleberry.com/about.html to get special deals at Bramble Berry and also cool recipes and tips.
Have a great time learning - =)
Happy soaping!
