Teach Soap

I've been drying a batch of bubble bars for almost two weeks, and if I try and crumble them they are about as dry as fat free Feta Cheese ( like this example ). They crumble but not to a sort of powdery crumble as a salad crouton would crumble if crushed between your fingers. So how dry do they get?

Mine crumble into powdery pieces. How much glycerin did you add to how big of a recipe?

I added 4OZ of glycerin but I also did heaping one cups of baking soda and SLSA and a heaping 1/2 cup of cornstarch plus the fragrance. I just took a bath with my last batch that are just over a week old and it was a bit drier then the other batch I made that is older. This last batch was Red Hot Cinnamons and boy did it smell good, and a bit more on the powdery side! Does is get dryer if you kneed it more and use less gylcerin and more FO?

I go by weight. It's hard to say since teaspoon and cups are not very accurate. I use VERY little glycerin in mine.

I don't use Glycerine in my bubble bars. Mine come out hard like a bath bomb.

I also go by weight. Everything is measured in grams for accuracy.
