I am making lip balms and lip scrubs and I want to flavor and color the lip scrubs and I do not know what kind of coloring to use. On the lip scrubs I am using oils, sugar and alitte bit of shea butter.

You might want to consider a lip safe preservative in the lip scrub. Your lips have moisture naturally and if that moisture comes in contact with the sugar, beasties could start to grow.

would rosemary extract be ok to use for a preservative?
