Hi!

I just tried my first bath bombs the other night. They worked great, except... I had a little difficulty getting them out of the molds. I'm using plastic/rubber ice cube trays I got from Ikea. I've read somewhere that you can grease them up with a tad bit of oil to help them release.

Any thoughts, appreciated!
Thanks,
Heidi

I haven't had to use oil, but if they are stuck, I put them in the freezer for a while.

Heidi - did you leave the mix in the mould for a while? If you mould it and tip it out immediatly, you shouldn't have any problems sticking. :)

Try to pack them as tightly as you can. Then let them harden and they should come out pretty easy.
I agree with Soapbuddy on the fridge/freezer thing too - that usually will do the trick. :D

Thanks for the tips. I just used the basic recipe on the Teach Soap site and will be trying the moisture rich fizzy next. I'm hoping to have good success with that one too. Thanks again!
