Hi everyone!
I am new to the site and am loving all of the useful information, support and suggestions you all offer.

I make bath bombs and now understand isses with my bombs are generally related to moisture, either too little or too much.

I wanted to try and make a foaming bath bomb so bought some Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate but when it arrived it is a liquid/gel (was not clear from website, i was expecting powder....) and i am not sure how i can incorporate this into a bath bomb recipe.

If anyone has any suggestions i’d really appreciate the help.

Many thanks
Holly

Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate is a harsh detergent, which can be a skin irritant. It's a foaming agent commonly used in some cosmetic products and industrial cleaners. I can't use this ingredient. It makes my skin itch and it feels like it's on fire.

Sodium Lauryl Sulphoacetate would be a milder option. It comes as a powder or flakes. I would suggest wearing a respirator when working with it.
