I just got my order in from BB and now I am wondering if there is a way to make the lip balm base thicker. It seems like it is too "slick". I noticed in the original container it was really soft and it seems to be soft after I poured it and it hardened. Then when you go to apply it, it just melts at the touch of your finger. Is it supposed to do that?

It's suppose to melt easy, so it doesn't drag across your lips. If you want it harder, you could add a wax of some sort ie; beeswax, carnauba or candelilla.
