Teach Soap

Would anyone care to share how they are dispensing their liquid soap and lotions into bottles????

I don't have a pic, but I either pour right away into my bottles for retail, or I use a heavy duty ziploc bag with a small snipped corner and use that to dispense.

I know also, that if the lotion is still a little warm it will be thinner and easier to pour. =)

I use disposable plastic piping bags, you can get them on a roll from bakery supply companies. They are single use, but as they are primarily used for piping whipped cream they are sterile.

If my lotion is still warm I find that I can easily dispense straight into the bottle, if not a small plastic funnel works well for me.
I've tried the plastic baggie trick and it just became a mess for me...lol...

This is the container that I like to hold my shampoos or other liquid soaps in. The one in the picture will hold 2.5 gallons of my beer shampoo. I love these containers because I sell 3 different sizes of my shampoo and it allows me to fill just the size that is selling well at the time. The spout works good but not great for speed. It works out fine for me because as I fill one bottle I am putting the label on the last one so no time is wasted. It has a large cap on the top that is big enough to get your hand inside so cleaning is not to bad either. I got this at Walmart.

That is a great idea! We have one of these in our fridge... it is full of water though! If you loosen or take off the lid then the liquids come out a lot faster.

I think so too and do love these. I have 4 of them setting side by side on a shelf and they do not take up much shelf space either. Because they are plastic I think the fragrance will sink into them a little but I always use the same one for the same product.
