Hi guys not happy with the Sensuous Sandalwood FO that just arrived from BB. I was thinking sexy, musk, deep sandalwood and I got a tooty fruity smell instead Can I mix it with some EO's Sandalwood and Vanilla maybe? I have never mixed a FO with a EO before, what do you think?

Hey I do not know how to delete a post, but I was WRONG it smells wonderful just like I thought it would. I did not notice that there was a free sample of Pink Strawberry in the box that leaked onto the bottle of Sandalwood. I assumed it was from the bottle of Sandalwood because the little sample bottle was dry and I just now put on my readers to see the name! I did not even think to open it and smell it first before posting. I went back to look again because BB is usually right on or close and knew that something was wrong of course it was with me

You can mix it with an EO - I've done that before. Try putting some of each on a cotton swab and putting in a covered jar for a day or 2 to see how the scents blend.

I was going to order that FO but changed my mind after reading your description. I was thinking about the same as you were about how it would smell. I def don't want fruity...

Some fragrance radically change in CP soap. So what you smell out of the bottle, isn't always what the final soap will smell like. Yes, you can mix EO's and FO's as much as you like.
