My husband has asked for a Patchouli soap but I have pure patch EO would that be o.k. or should I sweeten it with somthing, Ylang ylang ? Amber ? what do you guys think? Is Patch EO too much on its own? does it need some mellowing?

I love Patch on its own. I use about 0.5 oz. per lb. of CP soap.

Although I love patch mixed with several other things, using it on its own is my favorite... go for it, I'm sure he will be happy!

My husband LOVES patchouli! I make a soap w/patchouli and pomegranate w/ground flax seed. I also add just a tiny bit of patchouli to the body balm I make.

I LOVE patchouli mixed with orange essential oil.I made sugar scrubs , lotion and cp soap with this blend and it is heavenly!!! it does take quite a bit of orange to soften the patchouli..I will add a small amount of orange FO in the cp soap for "grounding" next time !
