Ideally, whenever you are making product you want to *weigh* your products and not use volume measurements, precisely for the reasons you just outlined. Volume is not as precise as weight.

It's hard to say in this case why you're getting different answers in different countries - it could be the size of the dropper to the viscosity of the product being measured.

Thank you soapqueen .
Its just i have been told that the way fragrancies are mearsured diffrent as i live in England i could not go on the measurements in drops of lets say for example America .

I was told that if i were to do it that way then my products would not pass a health and saftey test .
And my products would not compley with trading standards.

I would suggest getting yourself a jeweler's scale and measure. Oils have specific gravities and will not weigh the same.
