I received four fragrance oils from BrambleBerry today.

Champagne - A winner hands down! A must have!
Lovespell - Another Winner! One of my favorites!
Saffron & Honey - Sweet and exotic! I smell a hint of woods in this one. Yummy!
Black Cherry - Out of all the black cherries that are out there, this one smells what it supposed to smell like; a cherry!

Hi, soapbuddy!

Thanks for the FO recommendations. I've been curious about the Saffron & Honey ... I've been wanting to try that one. And I've been seeing the Lovespell around lately, and I've been thinking about that one, too. I have so many FOs to use up still, but I keep buying more!

Got some of the Black Cherry as a free sample -- it does smell like the real thing!

Soapbddy have you soaped with any of these previously, or is this an out of the bottle sniff test?

Lovespell I soaped before with no problems. Black Cherry I used in MP. The other two are out of the bottle sniffs.

I have no idea why I thought Lovespell type might have a smoldery musky bit to it! LOL Smells like Yuzu and juicyfruit to me, maybe I'll call my bars puppylove. Isn't it interesting how different our noses are, just as individual as people.

I was expecting Saffron and Honey to wow me like Cedar and Saffron did. It's awfully light. So light that I used it in MP, not CP and even so I would have liked a stronger fragrance.

Wassail is INCREDIBLE though. Anne-Marie nailed that one!

Hi Mella,
I just bumped up the thread about Wassail. I had wanted that fo last summer and of the 2 venders that carried it no one had one that was Bath and Body safe. Anne-Marie to the rescue! That's service for you. Do try some, it's terrific. :D

Ha, ha! I have to agree-- Champagne is indeed the best!

I haven't soaped in a while, but I enjoy these too:

Oatmeal, Milk & Honey
Woodland Pear (Not sure if it still exists)
Jasmine Dreams
Sandalwood Vanilla

Runner ups:

Salty Mariner
Cybilla Coconut (sp?)

Actually, I think this list could be a lot longer...lol!

I LOVE the champagne FO. Also the Yuzu, Morrocan Mint, and Gardenia FOs are fantastic!

Does the champagne smell like champagne? I've been buying champagne FO from bittercreek and I'm not sure I'm as happy with it as I want to be.
